Prestige Cosmetics Reviews Rite Aid Network

BACK to BLACK with Prestige Cosmetics

November 20, 2014

Hello darlings! I have a make up review for you today. I don’t think I’ve ever done any “eyeliner” post, so this is quite different. A lot of asian girls, myself included love our winged out or cat-eye liner. The thicker, the better! It’s not that easy though, it takes a lot of practice and of course good quality products to perfect it.

This is why I wanted to share you my review for these three products from Prestige Cosmetics new line called “BACK to BLACK” A collection of 18 ultimate eyeliners, pencils, eyeshadows, mascaras and makeup eraser featuring unique textures, finishes and different forms of application.

The products I am reviewing for you beauties today are the Makeup Eraser Pen, Velvety Smoky Eye Pencil and the Line and Style Ink Pen. This was actually my first time trying Prestige Cosmetics and I must say, I was pretty impressed.

β™₯ Makeup Eraser Pen ($9)
Oil-free and alcohol-free makeup remover pencil. Soft and reversible tip.

How to use:
For very tiny and precise correction use the top pointed part of the tip. To correct flaws in a bigger area use with the chisel-curved part of the tip. Clean tip with tissue after each use to avoid spreading makeup residue collected in the tip.

What I love about it:
Ideal to correct mistakes during makeup application, such as eyeliner, and mascara flaws. Since it’s packaged like a regular eyeliner, it’s super easy to work with and gentle to skin. I am really amazed with this thing! Probably because I’ve never tried anything like this before. I thought this was the greatest idea ever! Now it’s a lot easier to achieve that perfect cat-eyeliner.

β™₯ Velvety Smoky Eye Pencil ($9)
12 hr extreme long-lasting and waterproof eyeliner. It has a soft smudging sponge on the other end to create the ultimate smoky eye look.

How to wear:
Apply eyeliner on top, bottom and on waterline to give added definition and shape to the eyes. Do not pull too much on your lids to avoid bumps on application and achieve a sharper line.

What I love about it:
I mostly use pencils like this to tightline my upper waterline to make my lashes defined. I also apply it after the liquid liner to make my cat-eyeliner sharper and I really love the velvety finish of this product. It doesn’t budge or transfer so it’s safeto use it on your bottom waterline as well.

β™₯ Line and Style Ink Pen ($9)
14 hr extreme long-lasting eyeliner, with a unique tiny ultra soft tip. Grip area on barrel for smooth, comfortable and precise application.

How to wear:
Create whatever eyeliner shape you want! The tinny tip design allows you to create sleek line, a sexy cat-eye or a bold and thick eyeliner.

What I love about it:
It’s very easy to work with! It has an ultra black and shiny finish, so you don’t have to keep applying the product. I love liquid liners and not every product out there is good. Most of them run, transfer and smudge. This one doesn’t, so I really like it. It also dries fast and even.

Here’s the final look using the products to create my usual cat-eyeliner look! It was super easy to work with and thanks to the Makeup Eraser Pen, I came up with a perfect winged-out line. The Velvety Eye Pencil also made my line look more defined and sharper. I am seriously in love with these products, the quality is pretty awesome. I am really thinking of purchasing the mascaras from this line since I am also a mascara junkie. YAY!
