Review: Perfective Ceuticals

January 8, 2013

I always review stuff about make up, I think it’s time for me to try and write something about skin care. I admit that I do not have a perfect skin, probably some of you ladies do *so lucky* but for me I try to find stuff that work well and make it better. My usual products are my facial cleanser, exfoliator, moisturizer & toner. I didn’t know that there are a lot more out there that could actually make your skin smoother, brighter and wrinkle free. You seriously wouldn’t wanna deal with discolorations and acne blemishes right? They don’t sound nor look good at all.

Perfective Ceuticals is allied with renowned biochemists, medical specialists and doctors in developing the finest and most advanced formulas to provide comprehensive solution targeting the aspects of skin aging. The company addresses the importance of complimenting cutting edge science with naturally derived ingredients and century old methods that have proven results. Read more..In 2007, Perfective Ceuticals broke new ground in the anti-aging skin care industry by uniquely combining Omega 3-6-9 with the most advanced peptides and Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) in its Divine Age Guardian formulation. The formulation utilized a new trans-dermal delivery technology to help the anti-aging ingredients penetrate deeper and more effectively into the skin.

The company announced two new formulations in 2012, the Divine Brightening formulation and Replenish Moisture formulation, which specialized in skin lightening and post treatment care. Enhancement of existing products, as well as intensive research and development for new products, allows Perfective Ceuticals’ laboratories to be highly sought-after by many market and industry segments. Perfective Ceuticals also offers research, development consultation and private labeling services for cosmetic firms and dermatologists seeking to dispense their skin care products in the U.S. and abroad.

Perfective Ceuticals was very generous to send me this product to try and see what I think about it. This serum is from their new created line, Divine Brightening – balancing and lightening skin pigment tones while protecting against further damage. For discolored pigments, uneven skin tone, lines & wrinkles, loss of elasticity and sun damage.

♡ Divine Brightening Serum with Gigawhite ♡

Illuminate skin with a potent dose of Gigawhite and Ethyl Ascorbic Acid. This concentrated skin brightener helps fight tyrosinase, a primary cause of spot formation and discoloration, and protect against sun damage that threatens to hinder the glow of the skin. This results in rejuvenated, restored and refreshed skin clarity for a more luminous, younger looking complexion. Hydroquinone-free. Fragrance-free. Scientifically proven.

This serum retails for $112, pretty pricey I know but usually stuff like this are really expensive. This product comes in a 1.7 fl oz bottle with pump top lid, so you really do get a lot of product, it will definitely last you for a while. Packaging is really cute, mmm I’d say pretty fancy. The serum is clear in color, fragrance-free *no scent at all* which I love! The consistency/formula is amazing, I love how thin it is and not sticky at all. It actually makes your skin feels so moisturize as well. For best use, you have to apply 3-5 drops to freshly cleansed face and neck. Massage gently to ensure absorption. I usually pat it gently all over my face then massage it. It can be applied twice a day, a daily sunscreen is a must to protect your skin from the sun’s exposure. This serum makes my skin feel so smooth and looks brighter! I so love it <3 Definitely worth it to wrap this all up!

Water (Aqua), Hyaluronic Acid, Propylene Glycol, Cucumis Sativus Seed Extract, Gigawhite, Tranexamic Acid, Polyglutamic Acid, Saccharide Isomerate, Urea, Niacinamide, Carbomer, Carrageenan, Methylparaben, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid

I’m usually a cleanser-toner-moisturizer type of person and i veer away from using other products cause it may make my skin prone to acne or oiliness. Good thing it worked for you 🙂
