DIY: Strawberry Homemade Face Wash

Strawberries are a refreshing treat to your skin. Applying strawberries is ideal for oily skin and is also known to cure acne. Strawberries are rich in alpha-hydroxy acid which helps clear acne and reduce oil from the skin. If you want to know the methods of applying strawberries on the face to feel fresh and get clear skin, here are few recipes to make strawberry face wash and scrubs at home.

Strawberry scrubs and face packs for skin:

Mashed strawberries: This is the most simple face wash recipe for the face. You can use strawberries on the face by just mashing few pieces and applying the smooth paste on the face and neck. Leave it for 15 minutes and relax till that time. Wash it with cold water and get a freshening effect on the skin. This strawberry face wash is homemade and effective to get a clear and glowing skin.

Strawberries with honey: Honey hydrates the skin and opens the pores too. Make a paste of strawberries and add a tbsp of honey in it. Apply this paste on the face and neck. Wash the oily skin with water before applying this face pack. You can also use it as a scrub to clear the skin. Apply this strawberry scrub on the face and then massage for 4-5 minutes. Leave for 10 minutes and then rinse off with milk and water.

Strawberries, honey and lemon scrub: This is another homemade strawberry face scrub for oily skin. Mash strawberries and add honey and lemon. Make a thick paste and massage on face and neck. Lemon and strawberries removes excess oil from the skin and cleans the face. Apply this face scrub twice in a week for effective results.

Strawberries and milk face massage scrub: To get rid of aging and tighten the skin, this face scrub is the ideal homemade strawberry recipe. You can also mix cream to moisturize the skin. Massage the face with the paste for 10 minutes and then rinse off with cold water.

    I love strawberry anything… except for actually eating strawberries – weird, right?
    I use strawberry scented lotion infused with papaya… everyone always asks ‘Is that you that smells so fruity’ – I love it! It makes me want strawberry sweets, ha ha.
    I also have a strawberry bath scrub. πŸ˜€

    I may not like the fruit but it’s my favorite ‘clean’ scent and I like the freshness of it πŸ™‚

    I use strawberry and cinnamon as my lotion xD hihi. so I use strawberry and cinnamon as my lotion that i bought at watsons xD hihi. Those are really a great tips πŸ™‚ I used to put honey in my face before, but now i don’t since we don’t have a any refrigerator in our boarding house. o.O gaah! I wanna try it.
