Beauty attracts the attention, but personality captures the heart.

Hello ladies! It’s that time of the month where I share you my favorite products. Things I have been loving and using pretty much everyday. I hope you had an amazing month, mine was pretty awesome! Lots of new products in March, which is really exciting. But also I have been trying to go through my collection and kind of see which products I have been neglecting *LOL* I think sharing what I’ve been using recently will motivate me to mix up my routine and actually try to use up the items I own before buying more.

MAC Studio Fix Fluid (NC30)
Retail Price: 30 ml / 1.0 fl oz/ US$27.00
A modern foundation that combines a natural matte finish and medium, buildable coverage with broad spectrum UVA/UVB SPF 15 protection. Applies, builds and blends easily and evenly. Comfortable and long-wearing, helps minimize the appearance of pores and imperfections, giving skin a smoother, more flawless look and finish.

I love this foundation so much! I have read a lot of reviews about it, good and bad, YES. It does work pretty good for me thou. It’s definitely full coverage, you don’t even need a lot of this product to actually cover up any imperfections you have. It doesn’t feel heavy, well at least not for me. $27 a bit pricey for a foundation, but it’s worth it, so I am definitely gonna repurchase once I ran out.

Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder (002 Light Pale)
Retail Price: 0.25 oz (7.1 g) / US$9.99
Undetectable coverage. Unbelievable complexion. Makeup so refreshingly light it melts right in, creating a fresh, even look. Pressed powder blends seamlessly with a lightweight feel.

This is by far one of the best pressed powders I have ever tried. I love how it sets my foundation really well. You definitely will get a matte & even look. I love that it remains sheer no matter how aggressively you apply it and it never looks powdery. The only downside of this product is it only comes in 6 shades, and it’s kinda hard to tell which will actually match your skin tone perfectly. I had to get the second lightest shade because the others just look a bit dark. The packaging could use some work but not a big deal I still love it.

L’oreal True Match™ Blush (Soft Sun/Soleil Doux)
Retail Price: 0.21 oz (6 g) / US$10.95
It flawlessly complements your skin’s tone and texture. Coordinates perfectly with True Match™ Makeup, Powder, and Concealer. True-to-life shades precisely match your skin tone and undertone, leaving you with the most natural flush of color imaginable.

The pigmentation is crazy! I only need to dab my brush ONCE and that’s enough for both of my chubby cheeks. It is really super blendable and it gives you the most natural looking blush. I have it in the shade Soft Sun, and I use it as a blush and bronzer. It just gives my face the perfect glow, I love it so much! Pretty pricey for a blush, but this will definitely last you for the longest time, it’s worth it.

Milani Brow Fix (02 Medium)
Retail Price: 0.15 ounces / 4.2 grams / US$6.99
A brow grooming and shaping kit that will help you create a perfect set of arches. Compact contains seven essential tools: Straight edged tweezers, slanted brow filler brush, brow bone sponge applicator, 3X magnifying mirror, brow bone highlighter and two tone-on-tone powders to fill and shape brows. Be your own brow guru, shaping your brows is as easy as 1-2-3!

I don’t think I could live without it! It’s really amazing. It’s a decent little kit that comes with two brown shades (one deeper than the other) and a highlight shade for the brow bone. I love that it comes with little tools, the angled brush is perfect. No one ever noticed my brows we’re filled in, it gives you the most natural looking brows. Most of the time when I’m lazy I use all the colors to do my make up for the day, that’s how amazing this kit is.

Urban Decay Supercurl Curling Mascara
Retail Price: 9 ml e 0.3 US fl oz / US$20.00
Sculpt your lashes with perfectly sexy curves to feel instantly prettier-than-pretty. Our formula boosts curl, separates lashes, and literally crafts each one into an expertly-shaped, battable set. Part of the secret lies in our molded and curved new technology wand that shapes lashes AND holds curl effectively throughout the day. Even more impressive are the incredible conditioning ingredients in our formula – packed with glycoprotein for lash thickening, moringa seeds to help with curl definition, and Meadowfoam seed oil and Shea Butter for conditioning and smoothing.

I’ve had this mascara for a while and never really used it until now. It does a really good job on separating my lashes. It makes them look longer and fuller. It doesn’t clump, so that’s a big plus! The only thing is $20 for this mascara is a little bit too much, but it’s Urban Decay, so can’t really complain. It’s a pretty good “go-to” mascara I would say.

Nivea Lip Butter (Caramel Cream Kiss)
Retail Price: 0.59 oz / US$3.99
Enriched with Shea Butter and Almond Oil to intensely moisturize and soothe dry lips for long-lasting care. Rich formula melts onto lips providing long-lasting nourishment to make all your kisses better.

I was very excited to try this product when I saw pictures over the internet. What honestly sold me is the packaging, it’s the most adorable thing! Caramel Cream Kiss is definitely my favorite flavor. It smells and taste so delicious! It makes me wanna eat it *LOL* Comparing to other lip balms/lip butters out there, this product is not bad at all. Nice creamy formula, decent hydration and yummy fragrances and flavors. The only downside is this tin is a little expensive! If you want all the flavors, wait til they go on sale *LOL*

I am also IN LOVE with my Nearly Naked powder! Doesn’t give a lot of coverage but it does leave my face oil-free for a couple of hours. I haven’t tried that caramel balm from Nivea, it sounds soo tasty just seeing that it’s flavor is caramel @.@

Out of all your products the only I have and can really relate too is the MAC Studio Fix fluid. 😛 I am a L’Oreal user too but not the same product. I have lippies from them and that’s just about it. While in Milani I have 2 nail polishes. Great detailed product information as always. It makes me want to purchase the Nivea for it’s delicious and scrumptious label. :-))

Woah. March pa tong post na to. Hehe.

I am not into cosmetics, but I am trying to find one powder that would hide my pores and lessen the oil. I guess I could give Revlon a try. WHat do you think sis? Or do you have any other to recommend? 🙂
